Juventus have lost their second leg to SampDoria at the Stadio Olimpico, a result that sees them drop to seventh in Serie A.
The game started out in the same fashion as the first leg, with Juve taking a 3-0 lead thanks to a superb strike from Sergio Aguero and then winning the second half 3-2 thanks to the decisive goal from Paulo Dybala.
Juventus were looking to break the deadlock and open the scoring through Dybalia, who finished with a beautiful curling effort from 25 yards.
The Bianconeri were fortunate not to concede a goal during the second period.
Juve manager Roberto Mancini:”I’m disappointed.
We have had a good day but we still have to think about the second leg.
It is a very important game for us and we need to concentrate on our game.
We did everything we could.
We defended well and the goal was a nice one from my team mate.”
Sampdoria boss Paolo Di Canio:”It is a pity that they can’t score at the end.
We’ve lost the first game and we are now in the second and third.”
