The Dunkin’ Donuts empire is bigger than any other coffee chain in the world, and it’s the kind of company that would be hard-pressed to get excited about if it didn’t have an obsession with the art of making coffee.
A long way from the US and its corporate culture of corporate excess, the Dunkin Brands have been known for making coffee for generations.
The first coffee-maker in the US was an African immigrant named Benjamin Ponce de Leon, who came to the US in 1879 to help start a coffee company.
He had a passion for coffee, and he set up his own store in a row of homes just off the main road in the town of Kennebunkport, Maine, about 30 miles north of Boston.
He had a knack for making beans that were rich, rich, and very rich.
He made beans that would last for years.
It was his first taste of the coffee beans he would grow and brew for decades.
As a young man, he began brewing coffee at home, using only a mortar and pestle.
The product was good, but he didn’t like the taste.
“The smell was horrible,” he later recalled.
When the family moved to Kennebay, Maine in the early 1900s, the local farmers were offering their beans for sale, and so he started selling his beans on the street, selling them for a few dollars apiece.
He also began brewing at home in his home, and in 1892 he began selling his coffee in the back of a store he built on the side of the road near Kennebor High School.
Dunkin’s coffee started out as a niche product.
Today, Dunkin is the largest coffee maker in the country, with more than 100 brands.
Even before Dunkin started, coffee was inextricably linked to America.
It was a staple for the countrys agricultural heritage, and the roots of its coffee culture are rooted in the land, according to Tom Naylor, co-owner of the Dunkins Coffee Company.
At Dunkin, coffee is part of the fabric of the community, Naylor told the New York Times.
You see the old plantation buildings on the farm.
You see the farmers coming and going, and you see the families with the chickens and the goats, and that’s where the story is going to come from.
In the late 1960s, Dunkins opened its first store, in a historic brick building on the site of the old Port Townsend tobacco factory, which is now the company’s headquarters.
But the first Dunkin Store was a modest operation.
By the time the Dunkens opened a second store, a more upscale location, in 1970, Dunkers coffee was already established as the standard for American coffee.
The company began marketing Dunkins coffee as a product that could be used in every home, whether it was for baking, cooking, or for the office.
Over the years, Dunklin’s coffee empire has expanded to include Dunkin Foods, a global food company.
Nowadays, Dunklins coffee is available in more than 40 countries, including Britain, China, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
Coffee is the most popular drink in the developed world, according the BBC, with Starbucks being the biggest consumer of Dunkins’ coffee.
The BBC reported that one of Dunkin’s largest sales was $4.5 billion in 2012.
Despite all the accolades Dunkins has garnered, the company has been dogged by scandals and lawsuits.
From 2001 to 2008, the BBC reported, the business was the subject of multiple investigations, including a probe by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, a probe led by the SEC’s Criminal Investigation Division, and a civil lawsuit filed by Dunkin customers.
Some Dunkins employees have also been arrested and accused of sexual misconduct.
In the mid-2000s, for example, one Dunkin employee, Michael Stinson, was convicted of sexually abusing several young women in the late 1990s.
Stinson served two-and-a-half years in prison, and his wife was fired.
Stinson, who was released in 2014, was one of three employees of Dunkens coffee company, the Wall Street Journal reported in 2010.
After serving time in prison and a year of probation, Stinson was released from the prison and moved to an apartment in Brooklyn.
He then began working for Dunkins again.
He worked for the company for another year before being fired, the Journal reported.
Stinson is one of the many Dunkin employees who have accused the company of sexual harassment.
The latest of these allegations came out this past summer, when Stinson filed a lawsuit against Dunkin in a federal court in Manhattan.
In his lawsuit, Stenson accused the Dunkons of mistreating and harassing him, saying that he
