When you’re not trying to get coffee to your coffee mug, you’re probably doing it all the time.
That’s fine and dandy, except that it can be a little difficult to use the filter correctly, and the result is that your coffee will be slightly bitter, too.
So what do you do if you’re one of those people who’s never had coffee before, but just wanted to try it?
The answer: Make your own coffee filter!
I know, I know: It sounds crazy.
You can buy coffee filters online or in stores.
But don’t do that.
Instead, try these five easy steps to make your own.
Get a coffee grinder You need a coffee grinder, right?
But, you know, you could probably just make your coffee on your own instead.
So here’s the trick.
First, get a coffee grinding machine, which you can buy for $10.
Then, buy an Aeropress or other coffee filter that has a built-in filter (they’re usually the same type as the ones you buy in stores).
You can also buy one of the filters with a filter holder, which is handy if you want to use it to pour coffee in your mug.
Cut the filter into cubes, cups, or other containersFirst, you’ll need to make the filter.
Pour some water into the Aeropressed or Aeroprime coffee filter, and pour it into the grinder.
You should have about 30 to 40 percent of the filter in there.
Pour the remaining 80 percent into a medium-sized container.
Now, place the filter on a piece of paper, or a cup, or whatever.
I used a large, plastic container for this experiment.
It’s about two inches in diameter.
Make sure you make a space of at least two inches for your filter, which will make it easier to filter it properly.

Pour it into your mugStep 5. Enjoy!
